Induction

Download and install the TeamSpeak client.

• http://www.teamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads
• The recruitment officer (RO) will add you to their messenger. It is your responsibility to contact them once the initial contact is made.
• The (RO) will get you registered on TeamSpeak and go through any questions you may have after reading the following guidelines.

TeamSpeak

1. If you are away from your keyboard, put yourself in the MIA or AFK channel.
2. On some channels you will see more information on the right hand side of the screen. This is usually the IP and password for scrims. Look at this before going into the game.
3. There is a texting function that allows messages to be sent to players and/or channels, this appears at the bottom of the TeamSpeak window.

Away From Keyboard

1. We may move you to another channel, you will hear “switched channel”.
2. We may kick you to attract your attention.

Practice Channel

• If a practice is under way (read the forums), keep your mouth shut until you know what is going on. Speak only once you know what is happening. It’s best to learn how to mute your microphone so you don’t disrupt the game/practice.

Playing With Tags / Clan Disrepute

What does this cover?

1. Hacking or exploiting.
2. Team killing for vehicles, even as a payback, do not do it.
3. Force a team killing by standing in front of a jet or chopper.
4. Accusing another player of hacking in global chat, if you have proof or not.
5. Abusing other players or making racist remarks.
6. Anything else that may give Death Comes Suddenly a bad name.

Why, it happens to me all the time, why can’t I do it?

1. Would you join us if we spawn killed you 20 times straight last night?
2. Would you join us if several members team killed you for a chopper?
3. If you are banned from GameArena you can’t play in scrims, you are dead to us.
4. If you are a cheater – move along, you are NOT welcome here.

Checking The Forums

Why?

1. If you joined us to play a scrim, the forums is where you’ll hear about it.
2. To contribute, someone may have a problem that you can help solve.
3. This is how you’ll know about upcoming competitions, practices and changes in the clan.
4. You can’t get your spam count up if you don’t post or view.
5. This is how we know you aren’t being held captive in the back streets of Baghdad.
6. If someone personal messages you, you’ll see the message quickly.
