Overall, MW2 is the game of the year. However i do have a few grimes to have out.
No Dedicated Servers.
Yes you can do private games, so scrimming is not a problem.
The issues with no dedicated servers is,
No map rotation,
No kicking/banning of players,
No anti-cheat system,
Host drop outs,
No I.P joins.

Auto balance is a problem for scrims.

Wow 5 years ago games with those flaws would get the worst reviews ever and today they are being called “game of the year”. Damn those marketing people really have improved their work with hyping up a game so people are blind to all the things that can go and do go wrong.

You can not scrim without dedicated servers unless the person hosting has server bandwidth available to him from his isp and can handle the many many players that the game supports on multi player.  No anti cheat software means I can throw up a simple simple texture config and have semi transparent textures and “know” exactly where the other players are (see wall hack). I don’t see any strategy behind this fps its all about run and gun .............. tf2 has more strategy ROFLOL.

Anyone checked their pings to the other players while playing ?? I’m sure the net code is very very basic which means it could be so bad that it registers a kill when in fact you missed etc, I remember one of the earlier COD games had such bad net code that if you saw a bunch of players in front of you you could shoot a few bullets randomly at them then duck behind a corner and you could would get random kills it was so messed up.

L4D2 all the way man so much more intense in versus.

EDIT : the steam version will have VAC so there is still hope yet, but hows scrimming gonna work with crap pings ?

I found L4D2 very disappointing. MW2 is more enjoyable.
